Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Chapter 1266

An inexplicable irritation instantly engulfed Willy, his entire body screaming annoyance.

"Mr. Willy, Golden Street is expanding lately. It'd take more than a month or two to finish. We'll have to take this route as of late. Luck would have it that school seemed to have ended early today..." Willy frowned and looked out the window, "I'll go down and get some air. Meet you up ahead, Carrot Cafe."

He opened the car door, turned back around to put on a glove, and unhooked the chain. As he extended his gloved arm, Hawkey went to his wrist sensibly.

Annoyed by traffic for the first time and even brought his falcon out, he navigated through the alleyways.

However, just as he began walking, he saw a little girl in a pink dress, carrying a rosy-pink backpack and hanging a plush pouch in front of her, trotting in his direction. She then hid behind a dumpster with her back half sticking against the wall, covering her mouth. Later, a chubby boy in a formal suit ran past them, panting.

"Yvie, where are you? Wait for me..."

"Yvie, let my dad send you home! It's really no trouble!" "C'mon out, don't hide anymore! Yvie..."

Willy couldn't help smiling as he watched the boy run back and forth while the girl hid behind the dumpster behind him with her hands over her mouth. Watching as the boy left, he turned his gaze back to the beautiful pink figure.

If his baby was still alive, she'd probably also be this big and would've attended kindergarten as well now, wouldn't she?

Reminded of Lauren, his heart cracked and tore apart again, bleeding in pain. After so long, he never saw signs of having a child by her side. She loathed him so much; did that mean their little one...

A lump formed in his throat, and tears started pooling in his eyes almost instantly.

By the time he came back to his senses, a man, though in suit and tie, careless, appeared out of nowhere and tugged the little girl's hand. It was apparent he was trying to drag her. Because he was a distance away and the man wasn't shouting like the little boy, Willy couldn't hear him clearly, instinctively jogging forward.

As soon as he got close, he heard the man coaxing the little girl.

"Then how about I take you to look for your car? You remember correctly, right? It's black? Is it 09098? Come with me, I'll buy you toys, and we'll later get your favorite birthday cake, okay?"

"Okay..."

The beautiful little girl nodded; her childish voice was very delightful, not to mention the plush pouch in front of her made her look absolutely adorkable.

The man continued to pull her forward, quickening his pace, and Willy instinctively followed to check on the situation, only to hear the little girl say, "Do you really know my daddy? You'll help me take care of Dree, right? It's hungry!"

"Yes, yes, I'll take good care of it and feed it for you!" Instinctively thinking Bree was a puppy or a kitten, the man grinned and kept urging.

"C'mon, let's hurry. The food won't taste good anymore after it gets cold. C'mon, let me carry you!" Seeing the little girl was surprisingly obedient, not even shedding a tear, the man nearly smiled ear to ear. However, just as he was about to carry her, the little girl suddenly struggled as she shouted. "Help me feed Bree first! Or I won't go. Brees hungry, and I can't walk any more. We'll be sad!"

"Okay, okay, keep quiet. I'll help you feed. How about some candy?"

Waving his hand, he took out a lollipop from his pocket and urged, "Go ahead, feed it! Let's walk and eat, okay?"

Seeing that she kept her bear plush

pouch open, he thought she kept her toys in them, thoughtfully opening

for her. Reaching for the i

just as he baffled what he was touching, a long snake poked its head out, scaring the man spitless, wanting to run away.

"Ah... Snake. It's a snake!"

Frightened by the man's shout, Bree bit him, causing the man to fling Bree wrapped around his arm away, stumbling as he tried to scurry away. Seeing Bree rolling on the ground from being violently chucked away, Yvette ran to it.

"Bree, my Bree!"

"Watch out!"

The little girl surprised Willy. But seeing Bree was obviously startled, and yet she still rushed to it, Willy instinctively whistled from a few steps away. The next second, Hawkey took flight and charged over with lightning speed, biting Bree in itsbeak, flying away before she could even touch Bree.

Squatting down, Yvette stumped for two seconds before she started sobbing. "Bree, my Bree..."

Willy was stunned by the child's beauty when he got closer. Failing to find any tissue or handkerchief on him as he squatted down, he wiped her face with his sleeve.

"Who are your parents? Why do you have that as your pet?"noveldrama

Hawkey was soaring in the sky and screeched a couple of times. Willy whistled again, and it came flying down.

Seeing so, Yvette swung her hand, hitting the back of Willy's hand.

"You're a bad guy. Give me Bree back! Give Bree back! You big meanie; you let the big bird eat Bree! Boohoo... Bree..."

Troubled, Willy held Yvette's hand with one hand, threatening, "Don't cry, or I'll have the big bird eat you too!"

Those who didn't know probably thought he was bullying a child!

Pursing her lips, Yvette blinked her teary eyes, stifling her sobs. She had really fallen silent. Surprised by her intelligence, Willy wiped her face again. However, he was still baffled. What kind of parents would let their beautiful daughter raise sucha pet and even keep it by her side at all times? Then again, she was a smart little one. Bree had clearly saved her life moments ago.

But she was too young; these animals were still perilous!

Having taken a liking to the little girl inexplicably, Willy became a busybody for once.

"An obedient child shouldn't raise snakes- raise something like Bree! Only a witch will raise Bree, understand? You're a good girl, aren't you? Don't raise Bree anymore, okay?"

Seeing that the little girl looked at him timidly for a moment, looking like she wanted to nod and shake her head the next, Willy's heart turned to mush at her adorableness, softening his voice unconsciously.

"If you continue to raise Bree, I'll let the big bird eat you too! And you will never get to see your mommy or daddy anymore! Big birds love to eat Bree and little witches! Don't raise Bree anymore, understand?"

Seeing that she nodded and became obedient, probably understanding his words, he asked, "What's your name?"

Right as he asked, the little girl turned around, running as she cried, "Uncle Daddy..."
