However, even in his dreams, Elijah did not know what he did today would become his greatest mistake and greatest regret in his life.

Without thinking, he lifted his feet and Carolien followed. The two of them then went to the largest shopping mall nearby.

Looking at the shrimp in her bowl, Carolien thought that peeling shrimps were a hassle. She wrinkled her nose and picked up some vegetables. "No! I am a meat lover. I eat like this all the time!"

How could she get fat after such a large amount of activity? If she didn't eat like this, she would not be in a good mood for a day!

Once again, Elijah looked at her. "Meat lover?"

Walking out of the hotel, he looked back at the obedient woman beside him. His eyes fell on her clothes which were plain and not from luxury brands. He saw a mall and thought of something. Then he said,

"I'm resting tomorrow. Let's go to the mall!"

His meaning was very clear. He wanted her to accompany him for these two days!

"Oh, okay!"

As they spoke, they turned around a corner. At the door, they exchanged paper bills for some coins. Carolien pushed a shopping cart. They went to the elevator and went to the second floor to buy some daily necessities before going to the food section on the first floor.

Along the way, Carolien was pushing the cart and buying things. Elijah just trailed after her. Occasionally, he would take something he wanted.

When they arrived at the first floor, because she took discounted tissue paper, slippers, and various kinds of small things, plus she had no idea if he hada pot and bowls in his home, Carolien also took a small pot, the shopping cart was filled to the brim. She had a hard time pushing it.
