Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1519

After wrapping up the procedure, Fiona finally sank into her office chair andnoveldrama

dabbed some ointment on her wounds. The whole process had left the visiting doctors absolutely stunned; they hadn't even realized that Fiona had finished so quickly.

"Wow, the world of experts is something else," they mused, shaking their heads in disbelief.

Fiona leaned back, waiting for Jackson to come to. Feeling a bit bored, she decided to check if the online trolls were still at it. To her surprise, she was trending again.

The hot topic was a video of her and Jackson leaving the scene of a car accident. As soon as the video hit the web, it ignited a firestorm of outrage.

"No way! Is karma finally catching up?"

"Haha, this is what she deserves!"

"The payback for that awful woman was super quick. Even the universe couldn't take her anymore. Why wasn't she the one who got hit?"

"Let's see if she still dares to use her youth to flirt with men. Families like hers are all the same, maybe she's just like her mom."

"The latest buzz is she went to St. Mary's Hospital. Anyone want to join me for a visit? DM me, let's give her a warm welcome."

Fiona skimmed through the comments, finding nothing useful until the fourth most popular comment grabbed her attention.

Criticizing her was one thing, but dragging her mom into it? That crossed a line.

She glanced at Jackson, who was still out cold, then turned to her computer and swiftly logged into her Twitter account to track down the fourth commenter's profile.

Her fingers flew over the keyboard, lightning fast. In no time, she uncovered all sorts of dirt on the commenter.

Turns out, he was a corporate manager with a shady reputation. He was into bribery, loved taking advantage of others, and had even been accused of sexual harassment at work. He also watched explicit videos during office hours.

His list of wrongdoings was endless. Fiona smirked, selected all the damning info, and hit "send." She knew it would take just seconds for everyone he knew, especially his boss and close friends, to get these little "presents."

Oh, that scene would be one for the books.

Feeling much better, Fiona's smile widened as she walked over to Jackson, who was now awake and watching her.

"Hey, you're up," Fiona said, slipping into her usual innocent and naive act.

"Yeah, I'm feeling a lot better," Jackson replied, his voice scratchy from being parched. He looked at Fiona, "You seem pretty happy."

"Of course! I'm thrilled now that you're awake."

Fiona didn't bring up the online chaos, and Jackson didn't pry.

"How about you rest a bit more while I sort out the discharge papers?" Fiona suggested, calming Jackson before heading out.

Just then, Jackson's phone buzzed. He glanced at it and answered.

"Mr. Woods, it's all sorted."

Jackson grunted in acknowledgment and hung up. Fiona returned, and together, they headed out of the hospital.

Outside, a mob of trolls had gathered, all zeroed in on Fiona.
