Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1807

Amy watched Fiona and her crew walk away, a sly smile curling at her lips. This time, she'd given Fiona quite the gift, dropping all sorts of hints. If Fiona still couldn't piece it together, well, Amy thought, that's on her.

Having done everything she could, the next move was up to Fiona. With her arms crossed, Amy casually waved off Fiona and her gang.

As Fiona left, she felt someone's eyes boring into her. She knew exactly who it was, standing not too far behind, watching her every move.

Just as they were about to exit, Fiona stopped in her tracks, spun around, and locked eyes with her observer, her face twisting into an odd, mysterious grin.

Amy was caught off guard, rooted to the spot. It felt like Fiona had pulled a fast one on her.

Snapping back to reality, she asked the person on the phone, “Did International Glam send anyone to the Woods and Bryant collaboration?"

"Not yet. Seems like they've pushed back the meeting."

Hearing this, Amy's grip on the door handle tightened, her eyes shooting daggers in Fiona's direction.

"What about our Larkin family contacts at International Glam?"

“Abby, I was just about to tell you—our people didn't even make it past the lobby. They were shown the door." "What?" Amy's voice shot up, disbelief etched across her face.

She stared at her phone, as if hoping the news she'd just heard was some kind of mistake.

“And our contacts in the Bryant and Woods families?"

Amy felt worn out. She'd spent ages prepping, finally getting her foot in the door, only to be shut out before making a move.

Suddenly, it hit her just how formidable Fiona really was.

"There's still one from each family who hasn't been outed."

This was, undoubtedly, the best news she'd heard all day.

Amy smirked. No matter how sharp Fiona was, she couldn't possibly spot all her undercover players. Amy had been planting and pulling strings for years; as long as she had

someone in the Bryant and Woods families, she wasn't worried.

After leaving the museum, Fiona and her crew chatted with the Bryant family about next season's designs, skipping the dorm for the night. In her casual work gear, she and Tyler headed to Golden Times.

Before leaving, Fiona whispered something to Nash, feeling confident enough to take off.noveldrama

Even as they left, Fiona caught Jane's hesitant look but didn't push for answers, just exchanged goodbyes and drove off.

In the car, Tyler glanced at Fiona, who had her eyes shut, and said, "The Kidd family wants in. They're trying to get a feel through Jane."

Without opening her eyes, Fiona leaned against the window, finding a comfy spot to doze off.

"Let them cool their heels. Deal with

the Kidd family with a lukewarm

attitude for now. Let's see how

genuine the Bryant and Woods families are first."

With that, Fiona fell silent. Her voice had a crisp, cool edge, and with some distance still to Golden Times, she could squeeze in a little more sleep.

But just as she started to drift off, a loud crash jolted her awake.

"Seriously? Can't you see the red light? Speeding like that, you trying to get us killed?" the driver yelled, clearly ticked off.
