Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1815

This really is some fantastic news!

Jackson scooped Fiona up effortlessly, letting her wrap her arms around his neck. He leaned in and planted a gentle kiss on her lips.

Fiona was a little charmer, absolutely stunning and irresistibly captivating, especially now with that seductive allure of hers.

"Jackson, more!" she playfully demanded.

Fiona snuggled into his embrace, burying her head into the crook of his neck, her voice teasing and impossible to ignore.

Jackson couldn't resist Fiona's enchanting ways; his demeanor shifted

immediately as he carried her over to the living room sofa.

Once seated, he kept a soft smile while the girl in his arms looked up and mirrored

his grin with her own bright smile.

He gently held the back of her head, leaning in for another kiss.

...

The following morning, Fiona woke up feeling a bit frustrated.

As usual, she hadn't managed to coax Jackson into going further. Every time it seemed like he was about to give in, he'd pull back at the last moment.

She started wondering if Jackson just wasn't up for it.

Seriously, who manages to hold back every single time?

Annoyed, she headed to the dining room, where Jackson already had breakfast ready.

"You're up. Have you washed up yet?" Jackson asked, bringing out a plate of scrambled eggs.

Fiona gave a half-hearted reply, sitting down and digging into her meal.

Jackson watched her with indulgent affection, sighing softly. She was still so young, always full of quirky ideas. She didn't realize how young she was; he was

just looking out for her. They had plenty of time ahead.

Fiona picked at her scrambled eggs, her expression a mix of irritation and annoyance as she shot Jackson a look.noveldrama

"Jackson!"

When Jackson didn't offer any explanation, she teased, "Aren't you worried you'll go crazy holding back like this?"

Jackson just smiled at her with warm indulgence, not the least bit upset.

"Fiona, you're still too young. Just wait a little longer. It's for your own good. Besides, nothing's set in stone yet. Be a good girl, okay?"

Eventually, Fiona got it, nodding as she let go of her doubts about Jackson's capabilities.

Like Jackson said, this was a matter

of biology, easy to handle. Their priority now was dealing with the pressing issues at hand, and there was no need to rush into this.

"I understand, Jackson."

Until their issues were resolved, she wouldn't push it.

She used to think that being together meant they had to be doing something, otherwise, what was the point?

After breakfast, Jackson drove her to school.

The moment she arrived, Fiona noticed people pointing and whispering about her, their faces puzzled and even a bit disdainful, as if they couldn't fathom her presence.

Curious, Fiona walked into her classroom, where the usual chatter died the moment she entered, plunging the room into an awkward silence.

Puzzled, she looked around before pulling out her phone to watch a show,

slipping on her headphones to tune out the world.

From her bag, she fished out a bag of chips, a treat her friend Jane had slipped in the day before.

Jane always had good taste!

This new flavor was seriously amazing!

Fiona grinned, thinking she might just invest in this new chip flavor.

"How can she just sit there and eat like that?! I've never seen anyone so shameless, flaunting her status as the Stonnell family's heiress, acting like everyone should be afraid of her."
