Khloe’s expression darkened as she watched. Her brows knitted into a frown, and she reached out to intervene. “Stop! You’ll end up killing Skyla with that treatment.”

Sloane’s agitation flared the moment Khloe spoke. To her, it was yet another attempt to stifle her chance to prove herself.
