Shrouded Affections Winning Back My CEO Wife

Chapter 1315

Chapter 1315:

Presley had taken extreme measures to sneak in to corner Eileen. Normally, she wouldn’t have risked sneaking in, let alone facing the embarrassment of being kicked out.

“I only wanted to tell you that Milford’s life is a complete wreck. If you don’t believe me, check it out yourself.” While Presley spoke, Eileen kept glancing at her phone, clearly uninterested. She looked like she was just waiting for the moment to call the guards.

Feeling the pressure, Presley quickly said, “Divorce Bryan, and I’ll tell you exactly where Milford is.”

“What makes you think I’d choose Milford over my own husband?” Eileen scoffed, her voice dripping with sarcasm. “Are you out of your mind, or are you just delusional? Or maybe you’re so desperate for Bryan that you are not even thinking straight?”

As Eileen finished speaking, she raised her hand ever so slightly, signaling a man who swiftly moved toward them through the crowd. It was obvious Eileen was summoning security.

Presley, visibly frustrated, slammed the tray onto a nearby table and disappeared into the crowd. She believed she had already endured enough public embarrassment with the incident involving Colby at the EB Group’s entrance.

Any sympathy Colby had gained for being cheated on had evaporated after his street brawl and baseless accusations against Bryan. The Deleon family remained unaffected by the scandal, but her own reputation had taken a significant hit.

Since many who followed the news could easily recognize her, Presley had to wear a mask whenever she stepped outside. If she stirred up any trouble today, even more eyes would be on her. She couldn’t risk another public humiliation, nor did she have the strength to keep battling the Deleon family. The more she embarrassed herself, the worse it reflected on the Deleon family, which would only make them want to cause trouble for her.noveldrama

As Presley vanished into the crowd of people, Eileen calmly instructed, “Track her and figure out how she managed to get in. Dismiss the staff responsible for the lapse in security.”

“Yes, ma’am.” The hotel lobby manager had approached, already setting things in motion to uncover how Presley had managed to impersonate a waitress.

Eileen, unfazed by the incident, smoothly returned to mingling with her guests as if nothing had happened. The evening was light on tasks, and her eyes frequently drifted toward Gabriela, who was happily playing with Aaron nearby. Aaron had clearly taken a liking to Gabriela, bringing her little toys that made her giggle with joy.

Both Aaron and Adalina were here, but Adalina remained dutifully close to Ryann, despite her obvious reluctance. Aaron approached Eileen with Gabriela in his arms and a grin on his face. “I have to say, Gabriela really takes after you.”

“Of course, she’s my daughter. It’s only expected that she’d resemble me,” Eileen replied with a smile. “Aren’t you and Adalina college classmates? Why aren’t you catching up with her?”

Aaron glanced over at Ryann and explained, “It’s not like I don’t want to, but her father’s quite overprotective, especially since Adalina’s a girl.”

Eileen nodded slightly, understanding the situation immediately. It reminded her of the past. After the incident between Adalina and Milford, Denzel had flatly refused to let Adalina attend certain events. She understood his caution—Adalina’s reputation was at stake. And in truth, they hadn’t had any significant ties with Milford. But barring Adalina from even chatting with a classmate at a banquet seemed excessive.

Aaron leaned closer to Eileen, lowering his voice. “Do you know Milford Murray?”
