Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 1386

When Mia and Molly spotted Leo coming in, both of them stiffened. Oh no, don't tell me their guys found out too!

Then, seeing the adorable baby in Annie's arms and Wayne crawling around on the floor like he didn't have a care in the world, the two women exchanged a look. Right—how could they forget about these two little troublemakers at their side?

Once inside, Leo glanced around. "Did Mia buy all this?" he blurted out.

Mia shot him a look. "Why not suspect Molly?"

Leo just shrugged. "She doesn't have your kind of cash."

Molly clapped a dramatic hand to her chest, as if wounded.

Leo had heard there were guests at the house, so when he spotted a new face, he instantly guessed who she was. Mia did a round of introductions, but Leo quickly realized he was the only guy surrounded by a bunch of women. No way was he sticking around for girl talk. He'd just come by to check that Mia was here, so he'd know everything was fine. "Alright, I'm out."

"Wait!" Mia called after him.

Leo waved her off. "Don't worry, I won't say a word." He wasn't going to rat to his uncle or aunt.

He was about to leave when Molly piped up, "Hold on a sec!"

Leo groaned. "Come on, I'm still enjoying my peaceful days-don't make me risk my life." If he let anything slip, Mia would turn him into a human punching bag during their upcoming Silent Ring sparring match. No, thanks.

Both sisters kept sneaking glances at the food delivery tracker on their phones.

Just as Leo was about to make his escape, Anya tugged on her boyfriend's sleeve. "Chad, wait for me, okay?"

Leo sucked in a breath, looking puzzled. "Seriously, since when were you all so eager for me to hang around? What's going on today..."

Just then, Molly's phone rang. She answered, "Hello? The food's here? Great, we'll come down and get it."

As she hung up, everyone's eyes in the room landed on Leo-the chosen one for manual labor.

Leo let out a long sigh. "...So you only wanted me here to be your delivery boy, huh?"

With a resigned shake of his head,

he started heading downstairs. He figured there'd be a couple of takeout bags, tops-but when he got there, the delivery guy was

ve

unloading enough food and drinks to last a week. "Molly must be stocking up for a zombie apocalypse," he muttered.

"Sir, are you here to pick up the order?"

Leo replied, "No, I'm not."

He turned to leave, but stopped after a couple of steps. If he didn't haul the food up, those women would have to do it themselves. And his sweet overzealous Anya would definitely try to carry the heaviest stuff. He couldn't let that happen.

He spun around. "Actually, yeah, that's me."

The delivery guy looked confused-hadn't this guy just said no? Leo rattled off the last digits of Molly's phone number, then

crouched down, loading up: a case of beer, a couple bottles of milk tea, and four giant bags of takeout, with a bag of barbecue skewers wrapped around his wrist. Leo lugged everything back upstairs, arms straining.

When he finally made it to the door, Anya hurried to help, concern all over her face.

Henry toddled over, craning his little neck to see if his dinner had arrived.

Mia ripped open the bags and pulled out a fistful of chopsticks. "Why'd they give us, like, a dozen pairs of chopsticks?"noveldrama

Leo couldn't resist. "Because that's how much food you ordered enough for a small army."

After he'd dropped everything off, Leo asked, "That's it? Any more deliveries?" Everyone shook their heads. "Then I'm out of here," he said.

Before leaving, he clapped his hands for the kids. "Come here, sweet pea, pumpkin, let your big bro give you a kiss."

Henry waddled over, while Wayne, still clueless, just blinked up at him.

Leo scooped up his little sweetie for a kiss, then swept Wayne off the floor and

gave him a playful nibble. "Alright, big bro's heading out!"
