The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage

Chapter 2517

Hana laughed. "Damn straight. Others aside, this pretty boy is very lucky with women, so you might not get a chance here."

Rina shrugged nonchalantly. "Who cares? Let's just enjoy ourselves!"

Seeing that she was interested in Frank, the bar owner chuckled. "I'll let you have the day off. Do whatever you like. I don't care."

"You're the best!"

Rina hugged Frank's arm right then. "Come, handsome. I'll buy you dinner!"noveldrama

Frank chuckled, shaking his head. "Not turning you down, but I'm waiting here for business."

"Alright, then I'll stay here with you!" Rina chirped and promptly sat beside him.

The bar owner generously brought a carton of alcohol right over. "Well, I have to clean up the mess, so I won't be joining. You can have more if you finish the carton-don't worry about it!"

"We won't!"

Rina giggled, already opening a bottle and pouring a glass for Frank. "This one's expensive. You've gotta try it!"

Frank took a sip, and seeing that Rina was staring at him enthusiastically, he praised the beer despite his opinion.

The beer was strong and clearly not cheap, but beer was beer-it was no different from coke.

In fact, it was the strong taste that only made it less ideal for people like Frank, who did not like beer!

"Here. You have a glass too!" Rina poured Hana a glass.

Unlike Frank, Hana was an alcoholic and smiled after taking a sip. "I'm surprised you can afford imports here!"

The bar owner chuckled even as he cleaned up the place, "This town sure isn't wealthy, but with a tourist spot nearby, there are plenty of people who can afford it. Shouldn't swindle them with the cheap stuff, right?"

Hana smiled but said nothing.

There was a sudden ruckus from the back, and the bar owner flinched.

Still, he hurried inside to see that there was a snake near the freezers where he stored alcohol!

He was no coward, however, and used a pair of kitchen tongs to pick up the snake, throw it in a basket, and fling it outside.

As it slithered past Frank and Hana, the latter exclaimed, "Whoa, where did that come from?"

The bar owner pointed at the back. "It slithered into the freezer. Heaven

what it's thinking... Wait

you like crawlers like that?"

"I hate pets—especially exotic pets." Hana quickly shook her head. "But that one's

just a little strange."

"It certainly is!"

As everyone turned towards the snake again, its scales were standing on ends like a porcupine's quills, while two bones protruded strangely over its head like draconic horns.

Rina was immediately curious. "Could it actually be a dragon?"

Hana laughed, shaking her head.

one, don't exist. It looks l

like

look closely and wait for it

to stick its tongue out!"

Everyone nodded, as snakes stuck out their tongues to sense their

surroundings... but this one was not doing that.

Hana then asked the bar owner, "Can we have it?"

"Sure! I'll get you a box!"

The bar owner headed to the kitchen, got an empty box, and slid the snake into it

before closing the box and handing it to Hana.

"What, are you really going to raise a pet snake?" Frank chuckled.
