The Great Medical Saint

Chapter 343

Matthew said coldly, "You did this all to yourself!"

He remembered how he'd stepped out of that prison with all the money he had made. He'd learned an incredible medical skill. He was sure that he could give Tessa an even better life. He wanted to spend his days with her so much. However, Tessa had usurped the company and kicked him out. Everything had ended like this because of her own deliberate actions.

Tessa put down her pen and looked at Matthew. "Now, I have nothing. I'm a nobody. I know that you're a kind person who would pity a stranger. Could you at least have some mercy on me and send me some money for food?" Matthew stood up and walked toward the door, leaving Tracy behind.

Tessa was frozen in shock by the sight of this. "Why... why can't you just think of me as a poor stranger? Can't you spare even a little pocket change for me? Do you hate me that much?" Tracy got up and chased after Matthew. Then, she remembered something and turned to Tessa. "This is not your company anymore. Please leave!"

Tessa smiled, her heart full of misery. She got up and went to the elevator. However, Matthew was in it. He was pressing the button to hold the elevator door open, probably to wait for Tracy.

But when he saw Tessa, the doors closed. His handsome face gradually disappeared from view as the doors slid shut. That was it for Tessa. She howled and began sobbing.

Tracy frowned. If it were any other woman, she would have offered a tissue at once. However, she knew everything about Tessa.

She was repulsed by this ungrateful woman. Tessa was simply too merciless for words. There was no telling if Tessa would stab her in the back if Tracy was friends with her.

Tracy went to the elevator and pressed the button, wanting to leave Tessa as quickly as possible. The door slid open, revealing that it was empty inside. She walked in hurriedly, pressing the button. Suddenly, Tessa entered the elevator. Tracy frowned. She wasn't fast enough. It was a good thing that they were only sharing an elevator and that they would soon part ways.

Tessa's eyes were filled with tears. She looked at Tracy hesitantly as the elevator descended slowly.

Suddenly, Tessa gnashed her teeth and threw herself on the floor. Tracy was startled. She backed into a corner of the elevator.

"What... what are you doing?"noveldrama

Tessa looked at her with her tear-filled eyes. "I'm begging you, Ms. Lauder. You seem to be on good terms with Matthew. Please, help me.

"I know I was wrong, but I'm still Lori's mother. Please, let him forgive me. He can punish me however he wants. I'll do anything!"

Tracy suddenly sympathized with

her. However, she was still logical Tracy was no saint. She couldn't forgive everything. She merely pitied Tessa. "I'm just colleagues with him. He."

She trailed off. After a moment's silence, she said, "He's a really capable and mature person. There seems to be nothing that he can't solve.

"He's really kind and wise too, and he

sticks to his morals when he does things. He's an incredibly charming person. You've really lost yourself a gem. Nothing that I say will have an effect on him."

Tracy's face grew even more bitter when she was rejected. She felt unworthy and disgusting. Although she was on her knees begging for mercy, nothing was going the way she wanted.

She got up by supporting herself with the handrails. Her eyes were glassy and soulless. When the doors opened, Tracy hurried out.

Tessa trudged out of the elevator like a frozen zombie, following after Tracy mindlessly. A car was parked by the roadside. The door was open, and Tracy slid into the backseat.

The car moved slowly. Tessa stopped walking and watched as the car left, replaying the moment when she stood at the prison gates.
