On my way to find Yorick, I look around the crowded club. I honestly wouldn't enjoy this if Yorick wasn't here with me. Dancing with him is nice, ever!! the dance floor is crowded.

It's not hard to spot my mate at the bar, but the moment I see a woman's arm around his waist, I feel Rina snarl in my head. I follow the arm to Menace and then look at Yorick. I relax when I see the way he's looking at her. How this woman thinks she can steal him from me is beyond my comprehension The best word I can describe for the look Yorick is giving her is disdain. The fact that she's not giving up just makes her look desperate.

I see her eyes flick to where I am a moment before she fake stumbles into Yorick. I'm not at all surprised that my mate catches her. He's got four sisters, three of them are younger than he is. I would guess he's been catching Alpha females most of his life. But in doing so, Menace takes the opportunity to press her body to his and gets her lips too fucking close to my man.

"Oh for fuck's sake!" Rina snarls.

Menace turns her fake innocent eyes on me. "Oh, Cyra. It isn't what it looks like," she says, not moving out of Yorick's arms. He, however, pushes her off of

him.

"Oh really. That wasn't you pretending to fall over so my man would catch you and you could use the opportunity to press your skanky body against him. Don't pretend you didn't see me walking up," I say, not fooled for a minute.

I walk up beside Yorick. He's not saying anything, but he's watching me. I appreciate that he's not trying to defend himself. Since he didn't do anything wrong, there's nothing for him to defend.

"Here's the thing, Megan. If a man wants you, you don't have to throw yourself at him,” I say, leaning into Yorick who instantly wraps his arm around my waist. I slide my hand over his chest. Rina desperately wants to rub her scent all over him and show Menace whose mate he is.

"He has to want to be with you, not just to fuck you. Although my man is fucking incredible in bed so I can understand your desire to try and lure him there, but a man who actually likes you will want to get to know you too. Have some self- respect and find your own man, this one's taken, right baby?" ask, looking up at Yorick.

"Damn fucking right I am," he says.

I lift up on my toes and wrap my arms around his neck. I'm not sure if he's proving my point or if liked me claiming him as my man, but Yorick kisses me a passion that has fire igniting in my core.

"Fucking bitch," I hear Megan snarl. Before she can turn and walk away, I grab her wrist, forcing her to stop as I pull away from Yorick. He looks over my shoulder seeing her standing there then looks back at me.

"I need you inside Yorick. I want to feel all those incredible things you do to my body," I say, making sure Menace can hear me.

"Your drinks, sir," the bartender says.

"Hey Megan, I guess I did buy you a couple of drinks. Have at them. I have something much more important that I need to take care of," Yorick says, tossing a twenty on the counter and taking my hand. I release Menace's wrist, turning to look over my shoulder at her and blowing her a kiss.

If looks could kill, I'd be dead. But since they can't, I smirk at her before turning all of my attention back to Yorick. He looks over my head and waves. I turn and see Zach waving back. He makes a motion like he's driving a car and Yorick shakes his head.

"Are you okay running back?" he asks me.

"I'd love to."

"You know if Thad catches Rina, he's going to mate her."

"He has to catch me first," Rina purrs, pushing forward excitedly at the idea of our mate hunting us. We're probably fifteen miles from the Academy, so we have a lot of time to run, mate, and play.

When we get to the forest, we strip. Since I only brought a small purse, I wrap my clothes in a tight wad and wrap the straps of my purse around them making it easier for Rina to carry them in her mouth. Then I shift, watching Yorick still getting his clothes together,

'Go, Rina,' I say to my wolf. Thad is fast. I know he'll catch us, but this way, we'll make him work for it.

She takes off and I hear Thad growl behind us a moment before I hear him pull the shift. I'm not sure if Thad grabbed Yorick's clothes or not. But are thing is for sure he has no intention of letting us get back to the Academy before he catches

us.

He howls the howl of the hunt and Rina yips excitedly. She runs hard, darting around brush plants and leaping over fallen branches. She yips again when we hear his heavy paws pounding the earth to catch us and hear his low growl getting closer.

Through Rina, I feel him getting closer and she yips excitedly again, knowing he's going to catch us. About a half mile later, I feel Thad's teeth nipping at her heels and then he swipes his head, knocking her back feet out from under her. It only takes a minute before he's on top of her, biting onto the back of her neck and thrusting inside of her.

He growls as he mates her. It's rough and primal, both of them coming fast and hard. As soon as he pulls out of her, she grabs my clothes and takes off again.

He catches her four more times before we make it to the Academy. Each time lasts longer than the previous one and eventually, rather than holding her by the back of the neck, Thad is rubbing his face against Rina's while he mates her, licking her mouth while she licks his.

After we pass into the Academy grounds, it starts to rain. Thankfully it's still warm enough that the rain isn't too cold. It's a perfect temperature to cool our heated body as we run. This time when Rina is tackled, it's by Yorick. His big arms wrap around her and he laughs as he uses his body to brace our fall. Then, he hugs my wolf tightly.

"Shift, Rina. It's my turn to mate your human," he says, nuzzling her ear.

He rubs his hands over her body as she shifts and then it's me lying on top of him, my back to his front. I start to roll over, but he holds me there, locking one arm around my waist while using the other to tease my nipples.

The cool rain is dripping on my body and I turn my head, moaning into Yorick's mouth while he teases me. His hand finally moves between my thighs, and he rubs my clit until I'm screaming my release.

The rain is coming down harder as he gently pushes me off of him then rolls over top of me, sliding inside me and making love to me on the wet grass. His warm mouth is a sharp contrast to the coolness of my face. I wrap my arms and legs around him as he thrusts into me, capturing my moans in his mouth as he makes me come again and again.

It isn't until the rain finally starts to let up that he comes inside me, his body jerking with the force of his orgasm. When we've both come down, he slides out of me and lays beside me, tucking me against his body and wrapping his arms around me.

"I love you so much, Cyra," he says, pressing a kiss to the top of my head.

I say what's in my heart, even though I'm not sure it will matter in the long run.

"I love you too, Yorick."

We fall asleep, wrapped up together in the middle of the forest that surrounds the Academy.

The sound of birds chirping happily nearby wakes me and I realize that it's dawn.

"Yorick, wake up," I say, kissing his chest. "We have to get back. It's morning." "I'm quite comfortable right here," he murmurs.

I chuckle. "Come on. When we get back, we can shower and then you can have your wicked way with me again before we go back to sleep.

"Can we shower together?"

"It's early enough, I'm sure we can," I say, trying to push up but still being held in place by his arm around my waist. "Yorick." I say, my voice a warning

He taps his lips and I lean down to kiss him. He turns the kiss into a much deeper one than I intended, but I can't help falling into his magical spelt. When I feel his hand slap on my bare ass, I yelp.

"Come on, temptress. You keep that up and I'll take you again out here," he says.

"You are naughty," I say, getting up and pulling my clothes on. Because the ground is wet, my dress is soaking wet too, but it can't be helped. Yorick would lose his shit if someone saw me walking into the Academy naked.

When he's dressed, because somehow Thad did grab his clothes, we race to our dorms, making it a competition. When he pulls ahead of me, I grab his hand, pulling him back so I can push ahead of him and both of us are laughing as we step into the hallway to our dorms.noveldrama

Then, I stop short, a sinking feeling in my stomach.

I rip my hand out of Yorick's as the man sitting outside my door turns his head to

stare at my hand before his eyes meet mine. He looks like he's been here all

night.

"Stellan, what are you doing here?"
