"Yes, you are a stupid man, or hasn't anyone told you that?"

"Just one person though"

Alexandra wasn't a bit interested to know who had called him a stupid man but Adam wasn't going to let the sleeping dog lie.

"Are you not going to ask who?"

"You're pathetic if you think I'm a bit interested in your life"

"What are you interested in then? Let me guess..." He pauses, pretending to be in thought for a moment "You want to save your mother's relations"

Alexandra stared at him, her face stoic. Of course, he was aware she was here for her mother's relationship. That was why he was able to set a trap for her and she had fallen into it.

"And so?" She arched up her brow at him wondering where he was going with this.

"So you need me or do you suppose your Alpha will save you"

"Shut your mouth, you swine!" She snapped, merely staring into his eyes made her agitated.

"Why? You think he will come"

The feel of her soft hand against his sends an electrifying sensation around his body and he wanted to trail his finger up her soft skin when Alexandra quickly kicks him on the leg and he bends, loosening his grip around him.

She turns around to leave causing the guards to lift their swords against her. Adam laughs hysterically. There was certainly no way out of here. No one was coming for her, at least he made sure of that when he separated her from Nathaniel. And now she would be trapped here till he says otherwise and if she was not going to comply, then she would be in for a big surprise.

"You cannot leave here"

Alexandra turns around, locking eyes with him. She was already aware of that and doesn't want him reminding her that she was a fool by sneaking into the prison thinking she could rescue her mother's relation but her plan blew right up in her face.

"Really?"

"Yes, so you better rest. We are going to have a long time together"

"You are crazy to think I am going to stay here with you"

"True you can decide to leave but then you won't be safe"

"I'm Alexandra Guerrero, I don't need a knight and shinning armor to keep me safe"

"That means your mate isn't coming"

Alexandra seethes. "I told you to keep his name out of your mouth"

Adam smirked, in as much as he was having fun trashing Nathaniel's name, he didn't want to overdo it. Alexandra was what he wanted and he was going to have her else she would regret it.

"Alright if you say so"

Alexandra's jaw jutted up annoyingly, he was pushing her to the wall like he often does and that pissed her off. She knew he noticed it yet he wouldn't miss on the opportunity to piss her off.

"I'm going to ask for the final time"

"My answer will not change no matter how many times you ask"

"Stay with me and let me keep you safe. I can keep you alive as long as you cooperate with me"

"Wow! You are crazy" A strand of hair falls on her face and Adam's hand itches to tuck it behind her ear. "Read my lips, Adam, I would never. ever. accept you nor your offer. I would rather die than be by your side"

"What?"

"You heard me, you bastard"

Adam squared his chin stubbornly, clearly, he was livid. She had rejected him and that doesn't sit well with him. It wasn't what he signed up for. Hearing her say those things made him admire her in a way he couldn't fathom.

Now he wanted her, he thought she would be ecstatic like Olivia and the other girls in the pack would be. They would have squealed and pleaded with him to take them far away.

They would be thrilled to be next to him as he leads the pack but Alexandra was throwing him aside. She was rejecting him, thereby trampling on his ego.

No one has ever rejected him even though his looked were unmatched by Nathaniel. They made him feel special, like a god, Adam had paraded around the pack knowing that he was the one of hottest Alpha of his time.

"Do you know what you are saying?"

"Go to hell, Adam"

That was a blow to his face, she wasn't only rejecting him but was also rubbing to his face that she didn't want him. No, she never wanted him, not now nor ever and that made him feel worse than himself.

"You are making a big mistake" He laughs, trying to anger in his eyes but Alexandra could see that she hurt him and that made her glad. Crushing him has been her goal and she was going to do it again.

"The only mistake I will be making is staying here listening to you" She turns around to leave when Adam hastily grabs her arm, pulling her back into his arms and she falls right into his hard chest. His hot breath fans her face making her feel disgusted, Alexandra wriggles to get out of his hold.

His touch was nothing to her, there were no butterflies, no tingles just emptiness, anger, and disgust.

"I will never let you reject me"

"Let me go"

"Never!" His eyes turned yellow, and Alexandra winces as his claws dig into her soft skin.

Alexandra could tell he was furious at her and she didn't care. She would never stop rejecting him no matter how long the pain last.

"I said let me go!" She pushed him with everything she got and he falls back, loosening his grip around her. "You are not the first to be rejected and you won't be the last so deal with it"

"Really?" A sinister smile danced on his face and Alexandra could only imagine what was running through his wicked mind.
