The Rebirth of the Betrayed Alpha

Jumping down from his car, Adam couldn't help but smile when he remembered

the conversation he had with Alexandra. He didn't know she was a delicate flower until he had seen it. Attempting to take a long step, catches a glimpse of Olivia walking towards him, a warm smile glued on her cheeks.

The smile on his face quickly fades away and his adrenaline rushes up as memories of Alexandra getting attacked flash through his mind.

"I knew I would find you here"

"What do you want, I'm heading back home, already late for work"

"Can I come with you then?"

"Are you crazy Olivia? Is bad enough there is an ugly rumor going on about us

and now you volunteer to come to my house"

Olivia scoffs. "And what's wrong with that?"

"Are you nuts?"

"Is just rumors, is not like they say anything"

"Aren't you aware of the saying that there is a bit of truth in every rumor now what will our pack members say if words get out that you came to my house"

"Is not like is going to be my first time visiting"

"Will you shut up Olivia" He yells causing her to flinch, bewildered.

Startled by this sudden change in his personality, Olivia couldn't fathom what happened.

"You yelled at me"

"Because you don't want to make use of your brain. Do you even have one?"

"Adam" she whispers "I won't have you insult me"

"What are you going to do Olivia?"noveldrama

"How could you do this to me?"

"I'm asking you, what are you going to do? Call mobs to attack me"

Hearing those words, Olivia's eyes widened, shocked.

"How... how...what... what did you just say now?"

"Are you going to call mobs to attack me?"

"I would never do that"

"Shut up Olivia. I don't believe you, I don't believe a word you say, you are a liar. How could you?"

"Adam" she whispers, feeling a sharp pain in her heart.

"Do you think I wasn't going to find out?"

"Find out what?"

"How long did you think you can hide the truth from me?"

"I don't understand what you are talking about"

"You don't understand that you used my men without my consent or you don't understand that you used my men to attack Alexandra" He spat with contempt

Hearing the latter, Olivia frowns, glaring at him, she couldn't believe he would dare yell at her because of Alexandra.

"This is because of Alexandra"

"It isn't just Alexandra, you tried to hurt her and you tried to do it using my men, how dare you"

"How dare you, Olivia fires sharply having had enough of his insults.

"Who are you to yell at me because of Alexandra? What did that fool tell you? What did she say? What lies did she spread?"

"Alexandra didn't have to tell me anything. You used my men, do you think I wouldn't find out and of all persons, to attack, is Alexandra"

"What does it matter? How does Alexandra matter to you? She isn't your mate and she doesn't give a shit about you. You don't know what she's capable of. You haven't seen her true colors"

"The only person whose mask has been taken off is you. I can't believe you would do this. I trusted you and yet you go behind my back, what else have you been doing behind my back"

"Everything I am doing is for you Adam"

"Shut up Olivia. I would never strike without going through my plan and I would never send mobs to attack her, not now and especially not with the Alpha election ceremony around the corner"

"I did what I did for you"

"No you did it because of your stupidity or maybe you were intending for me to fail"

"I would never do that to you"

"How can I trust you, Olivia?"

"How can I trust you Adam since you are defending Alexandra? Since when did she matter to you?"

"I said shut it!" He glares

"Or what? You don't know her more than I do, I bet she ran to you crying and all"

"That's certainly your expertise so you think everyone is like you Olivia"

"What?" Olivia takes a step backward "Alexandra is a two-faced snake, can't you see it?"

"And what are you? Are you any different? Are you better than her? I guess not, at least she doesn't go around stabbing people in the back" He strides towards her, trying to walk past but she quickly holds his arm.

"I'm not done talking"

"Well, I'm done listening to you. Go home Olivia" He untangles her arms around Olivia shoots sharply, hating to give up. "You are not her mate"

Halting, Adam stares at her. "And so?"

"Alexandra would never look at you, she would never want you"

He smiles. "Is that what she said?"

"Does she need to say it? Isn't it obvious that you are no match for her mate? Do you think she's

going to be thrilled because you defended her" she chuckles. "You are a fool Adam"

"What did you just say?"

"You heard me damn well so wake up because Alexandra will never be the girl you want her to be" she smiles sinisterly "Good a thing she has a mate, I wonder how soon they will be getting married"

"Shut up Olivia"

"Or what? What are you going to do to me?"

Advancing towards her, Adams leans against her ear. "If it isn't out of respect for your father, I would have shut you up myself. Now go home before I forget who you are and do something that I would regret later"

"Apologize" she whispers

"What?"

"Get on your knees and apologize for yelling at me"

"You've lost your mind"

"And so have you. How dare you yell at me because of Alexandra"

"Is not about Alexandra okay? Is about everything you've done wrong now go home" He walks away and Olivia glares at him, gritting her teeth.

"How dare you, Adam Hawthorn". She scoffs. "This is all your fault, Alexandra Guerrero, I swear I will make you pay for this humiliation" she clenches her jaw.
