Rejected the alpha mate 232
Summer POV
My heart pounded in my chest as I looked at the nest I had created. The task seemed silly, honestly, but as soon as I started to make the nest, I couldn’t help but imagine Bradley. What would it be like to be in that space with him? My chest filled with warmth and familiar depression hit me. Where was he?
So as I stood there, anxiously with Judge Cody, I heard a low growl in the distance. It seemed that of a beast, sending a shiver down my spine.
I glanced on the right and from the periphery of my vision, I saw Damon circling around my cabin. He had come along with some Alphas to see the nests as guests.
The unsettling feeling spread inside me. Damon was watching me. I could feel his eyes on me even though I wasn’t looking directly at him. It was like an invisible weight was pressing down on my chest, suffocating me. The other girls were chatting amongst themselves, but I couldn’t focus. Damon’s gaze followed my every move, and I wanted to scream.
It was only a minute later when Judge Cody snapped my thoughts, clipboard in hand. “Summer,” he said, looking at me with a stern expression. “Tell me about your nest.”
I was about to speak when we all heard a terrifying snarl emanating from the woods. All of us froze. Then a blur of a moment. I whipped my head to the
line of trees.
Bradley appeared from behind the trees, his strides long and fast. He was moving toward my cabin like a storm, like nothing could stop him. He was a force of nature, something primal, which I could feel in my bones. Shocked, I stared at him as our gazes met. He decided to show after a week of missing
over here?
Damon, who had been circling, didn’t see him coming. Before I knew it, Bradley barreled into Damon, sending him crashing into the tree behind him. The sound of Damon hitting the tree echoed through the forest. Everyone froze, girls gasped, and my heart skipped a beat. I knew Bradley could be intense, but I’d never seen him like this.
What was happening here?
“Alpha Bradley!” Daisy gasped, barely able to get the words out before he grabbed Damon by the collar, pulling him to his feet and sending a punch straight into his face. The force was enough to make Damon stumble, blood splattering from his nose. My hands went to my mouth in shock.noveldrama
“You have no right to look at that nest!” Bradley’s voice was a low growl, filled with so much raw intensity that I couldn’t breathe.
I felt my stomach drop as Bradley, his eyes glowing with an unearthly fury, struck Damon again, this time harder, smashing his nose with his fist. Damon fell to the ground, clutching his bloodied face.
“Are you fucking insane?” Damon shouted.
Bradley’s eyes never left him as Damon struggled to stand. But before Damon could retaliate, Bradley turned to the cabin door. With a sharp motion, he slapped his hand against the wood, closing it with a solid thud. He was blocking the view from all others of the space I had made, the space that was mine and–mine alone. And his.
His scent, mixed with mine, was thick in the air. A powerful, possessive energy filled the space, as if Bradley was claiming.
The silence was thick with tension, and every male in the area seemed to be holding their breath. Bradley stood in front of me, daring anyone to challenge him. His feral rage was palpable, and his chest heaved as he stared down the rest of the males and females. His teeth were bared in a snarl, his muscles tense and coiled like a predator ready to strike. His hands were covered in blood.
I wanted to say something, but the words caught in my throat. I had never seen this side of him before. It was like he was a different person, someone I’d only heard about in whispered stories. It’s then when I saw his fangs. And claws. Like he had a beast inside him who was trying to surface. I should’ve been afraid, but I was so turned on.
Finally, he turned to me, his expression softening just a little. His gaze softened as he took a step closer to me, wrapping a protective arm around my waist. His voice was low but full of intent as he spoke to the others, his words leaving no room for doubt.

Chapter 232
“Stay the hell away from her, nest” he growled. “If you see it, I’ll rip your heads from your bodies??
My heart raced. I didn’t know how to respond. A mix of pride and fear bubbled up inside me. My chest tightened as Bradley’s words settled into the des and it was clear that the message had been heard by everyone.
I looked over at the judge, who had stepped back, clearly intimidated by Bradley’s actions. He cleared his throat and awkwardly shifted on his feet. unsure of how to proceed. Damon, still recovering from Bradley’s punch, glared at him but remained silent.
Bradley’s eyes softened just a fraction, and he turned back to me, his voice softer now. “You’re okay?” he asked, his tone protective, concerned
I nodded, still a little shaken. “Yeah, I’m fine,” I whispered, trying to steady my breath. But I couldn’t help the way my body was reacting to him. The connection between us was so strong, and it was all too much for me to handle. My heart was still pounding in my chest.
Bradley seemed to sense my inner turmoil. He gave me a small smile as if nothing happened right now.
Damon finally stumbled back, retreating to the other side of the group. “We’re done here,” Bradley muttered, his voice still thick with tension. “Let’s get out of here.”
And with that, Bradley escorted me out of the woods as others followed.
“What have you done?” I mumbled on our way to the van.
He didn’t reply, but a muscle feathered in his jaw.
As we all gathered in the van, the sun was setting down. All other girls left me alone, whispering that I was seducing Alpha Bradley somehow.
With Bradley not allowing Judge Cody to see my nest, I was sure that I’d be disqualified. They would ask me to leave. And then Morelli would kill me if I got past Laura. Tears welled in my eyes.
