"Are you saying someone in the Woods family is outside Grandpa Woods' control?" Fiona was a bit surprised, but mostly not. She continued, "No big surprise there. Grandpa Woods can't hold such a big family together without someone getting ambitious."

The more she thought about it, the clearer it became.

Someone was trying to use International Glam to get close to her, to win her over.

After all, everyone knew Fiona was going to be the head of the Stonnell family, though she hadn't taken over yet because she was still in school.

So, the Woods family reaching out was all about getting the Stonnell family's backing, hoping for a bigger Ce when the Woods family assets were divided.

Jackson watched her finish washing her face and playfully tackled her onto the couch.

He gently pinched her cheek, enjoying its silky softness.

"Call me big brother." Jackson's warm breath tickled her neck, his eyes filled with

a tenderness that seemed to want to envelop her completely.

"Jackson-" Fiona obediently responded, her voice sweet and soft.

He carried Fiona into the bedroom, but just as she was ready, Jackson held her

hand down and said, "Just get a good night's sleep."

Then, to her hopeful surprise, he turned and left the room to sleep next door.
