Chapter 1820
"At the end of the day, you're just a teacher. You get paid to do your job. Educating others is your responsibility, so what's with the high-and-mighty attitude?" Jane couldn't hold back any longer and burst out, her voice full of frustration.
Fiona's perspective on this young woman shifted instantly. She hadn't expected Jane to be so blunt.
"Jane, what are you saying?" The advisor's expression darkened immediately. She stormed over to Jane with a stern look and demanded, "Have you finished the ten-thousand-word essay I assigned you?"
"Fiona already told me I don't have to write it."
"Is she the teacher, or am I? Do you even respect my authority as your advisor?"
The advisor raised her hand, ready to slap Jane, but Fiona swiftly caught her wrist. With a slight squeeze, the sound of bones cracking filled the room.
"Talk if you must, but there's no need to get physical."
Fiona's grip tightened, twisting the advisor's face into a grimace of pain.
"It hurts! It hurts so much!" The advisor gasped, shocked by the strength of someone who seemed so delicate. She tried to push Fiona away, but it was pointless. "Fiona, let go of me, please!"
Unexpectedly, with a casual flick as if she were tossing a toy, Fiona sent the advisor sprawling to the floor.
Clutching her injured hand, the advisor began to sob uncontrollably.
Her confidence from moments ago vanished, leaving her sitting on the floor, looking utterly defeated-far from the authoritative figure she'd been.
Fiona crouched down slightly, her voice soft but chilling enough to send a shiver down the advisor's spine.
"Advisor,

Though the injury wasn't that severe, the pain was real, and Fiona was just using
it to scare her.
Upon hearing this, the advisor
dashed out of the room without a second's hesitation. Now, it was just Amy and Fiona left. Amy sat there with an air of cool detachment lounging back on the sofa with her legs crossed, exuding a confidence that Fiona found puzzling.
Every time Fiona saw Amy, she seemed to have this self-assured demeanor.
Ugh!
That expression was infuriating!
A simmering anger within Fiona threatened to burst forth, wanting to cut right through Amy.
"Fiona, why are you so on edge all of a sudden?"
Amy suddenly laughed, a soft, melodic sound. Her delicate features were captivating in a subtle way.
"Well, I guess I'm not as chill as you," Fiona replied with a slight smile. She glanced around at the others in the room and said, "You guys should head back to class. I'll be there soon, no need to worry."
Fiona anticipated their protests and preemptively cut them off.
Once they left, Fiona sat down, looked at Amy, and said, "You did it on purpose."
Amy stayed silent, but Fiona continued.
"The stuff in the museum was all your doing. You've always been targeting me. Fine, let's see where this goes."
What do you think?
