Richest Mogul

Chapter 1687

Diana dreamed of being intimate with Austin.

Before Austin returned, she obsessively watched the movies, TV shows, and even the variety programs he had appeared in. She would repeatedly watch any clip featuring Austin, imagining herself as the leading lady in the scenes.

Even though she knew Austin and Natalie had always had a strong relationship and even had three children together, she couldn't help but fall for him.

To her, Austin's existence rendered all other men mere background characters. How could she possibly settle for someone else?

"What's wrong with that? Are the boss' wife and kids not allowed to show him some love?" Natalie said, unimpressed.

Hearing the word "wife," Diana's face turned crimson with rage. "You! You!" She couldn't say anything more, turning her eyes toward Austin instead.

"I refuse to believe you don't have even a sliver of feelings for me! I've changed so much for you-it's impossible for you to be completely indifferent!

"Since Natalie is here, why don't you tell the truth? Have you ever liked me? Am I not different from everyone else in your eyes?"

She didn't believe that Austin didn't have the slightest affection for her.

During their school days, they had even been desk mates. After spending so

much time together, how could he feel nothing at all?

Natalie also turned her gaze to Austin.

However, Austin remained expressionless when he said, "You're not different from others."

Five words. That was all it took to shatter Diana's delusions.

Her long-standing fantasy, built on self-deception, was obliterated by Austin in an instant. And it happened in front of Natalie, no less. It felt like a knife straight to her heart.

"No difference? You're saying I'm no different from anyone else? I don't accept that! Natalie is clearly inferior to me in every way! Why do you love her?" Diana cried as she demanded answers.

"Because she's Natalie. You can leave now," Austin's voice was cold, and his patience had worn thin.

If Diana still couldn't see how uninterested Austin was in her, then she truly was blind.

She looked at Austin and then at Natalie.

Natalie initially wanted to say something, but she suddenly felt pity for Diana.noveldrama

A woman's youth was short-how many more years did she have? Diana had wasted so much of her time, trapping herself in an illusion she couldn't escape. In the end all she had been waiting for was a figment of her own imagination.

Why make life harder for another woman?

The words Natalie had intended to say no longer seemed necessary.

"I... I... Austin, listen to me! I won't

come looking for you again! You'net

regret

You'll regret losing e

e who loves you as much as do!

"If you come crawling back to me one day, won't even look at you Austin, you'll regret this! No one in the world will ever love you like 'I do! No, starting today, I don't love you anymore!"

After crying and yelling, Diana turned and ran off.

However, just as she reached the elevator, she paused and looked back at Austin.

She caught sight of him leaning toward Natalie, speaking softly to her.

She didn't need to see his eyes to know that they were filled only with Natalie.

Austin clearly didn't care whether Diana was really leaving.

Diana's face turned pale as she gritted her teeth and stepped into the elevator. She wouldn't give up so easily!

"Natalie, just you wait!"
