Richest Mogul

Chapter 1695

Did Aiken love Simona that much?

"I'll wait for you tonight. You must come to me. If you don't, I won't sleep tonight," Zera pleaded with Aiken, unwilling to give up.

Aiken glanced at her. "Not tonight."

Before Zera could respond, he turned and walked straight into the villa, leaving her standing there, speechless. He just left like that?

In the end, Wilbur drove her car instead of taking one of Aiken's other cars.

In the car, Zera couldn't hold back her curiosity and asked Wilbur in a soft and gentle tone, "Does Aiken always indulge his sister like this?"

Hearing her question, Wilbur raised his eyebrows and glanced at her through the rearview mirror, the corners of his mouth tugging into a faint smirk.

"Of course, he's going to spoil his only sister," he replied as if stating the obvious.

Even if Simona had killed Zera in a fit of rage today, Aiken would have taken the blame himself. He wouldn't ignore his own sister for another woman. Did Zera think too highly of herself?

Zera didn't notice Wilbur's expression and frowned slightly. "But today, Simona really went too far. She made things difficult for Aiken-I felt sorry for him."

Wilbur didn't respond.

She felt sorry for Aiken? That was bullshit. It was more like she felt sorry that Aiken ended up consoling his sister anyway.

Having worked alongside Aiken for years, Wilbur had practically watched him grow up. The bond between the siblings was something no outsider could compare to.

"Wilbur, after you drop me off, you're going back, right?" Zera asked.

Wilbur responded with a faint hum.

"When you see Aiken again, tell him to come find me as soon as possible. I'll be waiting for him. I won't sleep if he doesn't come," Zera said.

Wilbur began to feel annoyed.

He had initially thought Zera was a sensible woman, but now she seemed a bit dense.

When Wilbur didn't respond, Zera grew irritated. "Wilbur, did you hear what I said?"

Wilbur replied impatiently, "No one can dictate what Mr. Parkinson does. If you have something to say, tell him yourself."

He knew better than anyone else that if Simona found out he had done Zera a

favor, she would be furious. He understood his priorities perfectly.

Zera was infuriated by his attitude. "Fine! I'll tell him myself!"

"A loyal dog to Aiken, huh?" she thought angrily.

He was already so old, yet just as clueless as Simona when it came to reading the room. Weren't they afraid of offending her? She vowed to bring this up with Aiken later and have Wilbur fired!

It was not like Aiken had only one driver. She knew he had two or three as she had seen them before. Wilbur was old anyway-he should just retire and enjoy his remaining years at home.

As dusk approached, the sky suddenly darkened.

Thick clouds gathered, and within 20 minutes, thunder and lightning erupted alongside a raging storm.

Thankfully, Skylar had brought Vivian home an hour earlier.

Today, Edgar was busy making ravioli.

The piano teacher had arrived half an hour ago.

"Ms. Wilcher, why don't you stay for dinner tonight? You can leave after the rain stops," Skylar suggested, glancing at the storm outside and then at Thora, who was teaching Vivian.

"Yes, yes! Ms. Wilcher, stay for dinner! Edgar's ravioli are super delicious!" Vivian

chimed in, trying to persuade her.

Thora Wilcher, a well-known piano teacher in Jipsburg, was 39 years old.

She glanced at the weather outside before hesitatingly nodding.noveldrama
