Chapter 43
Taylor was looking forward to his one-minute kiss. He turned to Charlie, about ready to jump, but instead of getting into the water, he froze!
His heart raced.
He found it hard to breathe!
His mouth seemed to drop to the Earth's core, and finally, his dick rose.
"What the hell," Taylor muttered, his throat feeling paper dry.
Yes! Charlie was wearing the yarn! The same overpriced, barely-there thing he had specifically told her not to buy... and yet, here she was, flaunting it like she owned the place. Which, to be fair, she kind of did-but Taylor would never encourage her!
Taylor knew that Charlie was sexy, but he never thought that beneath her usual loose blouse and t-shirt, she had such a smoking hot body! She looked like one of those models from a sexy swimsuit brand with a tiny waist and curved hips. Her legs were long, fair, and beautifully sculpted.
The bad boy in him hissed, seeing Charlie glide into the water. Taylor couldn't help but check out her firm ass. "Dammit!"
Taylor was ready to scold her. Really, he was-but first, priorities.noveldrama
He grabbed his phone urgently, like his life depended on it, and snapped a picture of Charlie underwater. He muttered, "Fucking sexy, beautiful temptress! I'll get you for this!"
As soon as Charlie reached her goal, she screamed for joy, "I won! I won! Haha! I won!"
Taylor, on the other hand, marched to where she was. He jumped into the water and grabbed her by the waist, then pinned her against the edge of the pool, saying, "Naughty, Charlie. You did not play fair."
"What?" Charlie laughed playfully. "How did I not play fair, Taylor? You did the countdown, I jumped, and I won."
He pushed her further against the edge, grabbed the halter of her top, and asked, "Really? What is this?"
"It's a bikini," Charlie answered before biting her lip.
"Do you think it's cute and funny? What if your boobs fell out of this thing, and there are other guys around? What if we had our cleaner today?" Taylor pointed out.
"Well, you are the only one around," Charlie said. "I just thought it would be funny to see your reaction."
"Oh, I was amused, Babe, don't get me wrong, but the thing is, someone else was amused," Taylor hinted.
"Someone else?" Charlie asked, her eyes wandering around.
"Yeah." Taylor nodded. He narrowed his eyes and explained, "Someone else who is part of me but has a life of its own."
He was so close to her that Charlie surely felt it. She blushed, looked down, and asked, "Oh, that."
"Yes, that. You awakened a boa constrictor," Taylor answered. He cupped her chin and asked, "Do you want to change? My parents might turn up soon. I'd rather you wear the sporty swimsuit."
Charlie nodded, laughing it off. "Okay, but I still won fair and square."
Again, Taylor squinted at her. He hissed and said, "Fine."
Charlie was about to walk past him, but he held her waist again, saying, “But I do appreciate the effort of trying to stir my emotions, Charlie. You sure did know how to make me crazy."
He smirked and added, "I'll tell you what. You can keep this yarn. You can wear it at the condo when we're cooking, studying, cleaning-Whoa!"
Charlie gave him the finger and said, "I'll wear it when I want to wear it."
While she climbed out of the pool, Taylor said, “I was just saying that I don't mind you wearing it when we're alone-hey, put a towel around you-no, make that two towels to be sure."
After Charlie changed into her sporty swimwear, she and Taylor did more swimming. Charlie truly missed it: being in the water, underwater, and just relaxing as her body glided with it.
It was half past six when Charlie
called it quits. She and Taylor changed into something more casual while waiting for dinner to be served Taylor had invited Charlie to the fiving room. Tristan was with them, reading a computer textbook from the opposite couch
In
Charlie and Taylor were seated next to each other. Taylor leaned closer and put his arm around her, warning, "Hey, Charlie. Just to give you a heads-up. My mom is a bit strict, but that's because of how she was raised, so I hope you won't take it to heart if she doesn't smile so often."
What do you think?
