Richest Mogul

Chapter 1693

Zera's performance outshone all previous efforts.

"I bought this bench. I'll use it however I want. Stop acting here. Aiken, take her and leave immediately. Otherwise, if I lose my temper and my depression kicks in, I might really burn this house down.

"Maybe I'll even kill myself to go find Wendy. That would be way better than sitting here, sickened by the two of you," Simona sneered coldly.

Didn't Aiken want to yell at her? Fine. They could hurt each other. What did she have to fear?

Anyone she didn't like would never, ever step through this door in her lifetime!

The mention of "depression" instantly extinguished the flicker of anger in Aiken's eyes. But the words "suicide" and "Wendy" made him quickly step forward, gripping Simona's arm tightly. "Do you know where Wendy is? Did she commit suicide?"

"She doesn't even want you-why would she contact me? Even if she did, I wouldn't have the face to talk to her. I was talking about myself wanting to commit suicide.

"Wendy wouldn't end her life over a man. She's capable of building a better life for herself why would she choose to die? I just thought dying sounds more fun. Living is disgusting." Simona smirked, her tone flippant.

She wasn't afraid of provoking Aiken. The two of them had depended on each other for so many years that they knew each other inside out.

Her frequent thoughts of suicide came from a genuine belief that life held little meaning. The only reason she kept going was to avoid hurting Aiken and worrying her friends.

For the past two years, she had been quietly seeing a therapist. Her depression hadn't improved, but she had managed to suppress her suicidal urges.

Now that she had spoken openly about it, she felt an odd sense of relief.

Zera, meanwhile, rolled her eyes internally. Suicide? As if anyone would believe that.

"You should leave," Aiken said suddenly, turning to Zera.

Zera froze. "Aiken, I..."

Leave? Was he serious?

Aiken was someone who had seen every trick and every kind of person. And yet, he believed Simona's claim of suicidal thoughts? Or was he still hung up on Wendy?

Wendy's disappearance had really been a clever move. Zera bet that if Simona had not been around, Wendy wouldn't have dared pull off a vanishing act.

Unlike Wendy, Zera would never disappear. She knew the risks-too many people were waiting to take her place, too many envious of her relationship with Aiken.

"Take her home," Aiken instructed Wilbur.

"Understood," Wilbur replied.

Zera bit her lip, her gaze flitting back to Aiken. When she saw that he wouldn't even look at her, she had no choice but to follow Wilbur to the car.

She figured she could use this opportunity to meet him again in their usual spots later.

Simona's cold voice suddenly rang out. "Isn't that car the one I gave you, Aiken?"

She had spent ages picking out the car, wanting to give it to her Aiken as a birthday gift.

Zera stopped dead in her tracks.noveldrama

Simona fixed her gaze on Aiken. "Let me ask you something-has she sat in that

car before? Did the two of you get intimate there?"

Aiken took a deep breath. "Simona..."
